Damini Gupta

Damini Gupta is a visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer whose work spans children’s publishing, graphic storytelling and socially engaged visual narratives. She holds an MA in Illustration and Visual Media from the University of the Arts London. Her illustrated titles include If Elephants Could Talk, Woebegone’s Warehouse of Words, The Young Earth Lover’s Book of Nature and The Blue Horse and Other Stories from Indian History, the latter of which was nominated for the Oxford Book Cover Award in 2021. In 2025, she received the Artdemic Graphic Art Grant awarded by the Gujral Foundation for her graphic novel Finding DOZ. She regularly conducts workshops and speaks at festivals on illustration and visual storytelling. She lives and works in New Delhi, India.
