Madeleine Allard

Born in Quebec City to a Franco Manitoban father and a Greek British mother, Madeleine Allard is the second of four daughters. A Montrealer by adoption, she is herself the mother of four children. She holds a master’s degree in literature and is a translator, the author of illustrated children’s books and a short story collection, and the coauthor of a book on breastfeeding. She has also contributed to various other works.
